Dr. Elliott Heflin, Jr. was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is a published author and scholar who earned his undergraduate degree and masters from Jackson State University and subsequently completed his doctoral studies in Educational Leadership and Educational Technology at the University of Phoenix. He presently serves as Chief Executive Officer of RealityTech.

RealityTech is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to advancing student achievement through innovative, hands-on instruction in STEM and robotics. Dr. Heflin’s professional expertise encompasses computer programming, coding, and humanoid robotics, with particular proficiency in platforms such as Pepper and NAO. Under his leadership, RealityTech delivers workshops, courses, and educational events in both online and in-person modalities, fostering student engagement and technological literacy.

In addition to his organizational leadership, Dr. Heflin has contributed to entrepreneurial education through his work with Junior Advancement, where his team achieved national distinction by earning first place in a competitive program.

Dr. Heflin holds state certification in Engineering and Technology (GACE) from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission, underscoring his commitment to excellence in STEM education and teacher preparation.
